Sprout is adding a touch of cute to the children’s organic fashion world.

Sprout combines comfy fabric, with creative graphics to make environmentally and socially responsible clothing for the sprouts we love.
Sprout uses super soft bamboo, organic cotton and other organic and sustainable fabrics such as kira (made from corn) and soy. We are always on the hunt for fabrics that are good for our children and our Earth.
Sprout uses low impact dyes and screen prints created by Kelsey Pettit, an aspiring children’s illustrator, to make organic cute. Each season the theme of the graphics will change while remaining true to Sprout’s love of nature.
Our clothes are really well made and can be re-used and passed down to new sprouts
for years to come. In the long run, all of our fabrics are biodegradable.

Maegan began designing and sewing shortly after she figured out how to tie her shoe. When she was a little girl she daydreamed about a clothing company called Alfalfa Sprout. Alfalfa Sprout would make fairy princess dresses that would be paired with cool running shoes so alfalfa sprouts could run and play in the forest. With a glimmer of this childhood dream and the desire to keep the forests plentiful for kids to play in, Maegan, along with the help of Rita Visser and Kelsey Pettit, created Sprout kids clothing.
In a way Maegan is Sprout. In a way, we are all Sprouts. Anyone who can remember joyful outdoor play and wants to leave the Earth clean for our little sprouts and grandsprouts is an honorary Sprout. 		tank and skirt
